Malaysia is a country well known for its tropical timber forests and for its trading and relationships with many European countries. It has (25.9 million hectares) of land in which (32.83 million hectares) are covered with tropical rain forest and trees. They bathe in sunshine and showers with rainfall throughout the year. It is covered by huge rain forest and produces a huge of high quality of tropical timbers. These timbers are widely used in residential and commercial properties. Timbers are cater for interior decking, joinery, mouldings and other wooden products.
In line with the forestry management and timber policies of Malaysian Government, and as a member of Malaysian Timber Council (MTC), its PMH’s commitment and obligation to fulfill the Council’s and Malaysian government timber rules and regulations.

Our logging system used in the country is called "Selective Management System" (SMS) and is based on the pre-selection of the tress to be cut, of which it must have a life cycle of 25 to 30 years. It will contribute both to the conservation and evolution of species and to the maximum utilization of the raw material. The system was initially used by the British (Malaysia was a British Colony) and was maintained all these years. It is very functional and detailed system for logging process.  

In May 2009, Malaysia received International recognition for its timber certification mark and become the first country in Asia to receive it and the second in the world after Gabon. The mark was given by PEFC - "Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes".

In line with the forestry management and timber policies of Malaysian Government, and a registered member to Malaysian Timber Council (MTC), it is PMH’s commitment and obligation to fulfill the Council’s and Malaysian government timber rules and regulations.

Our exported sawn timbers and wood products are fulfilled the standard and certified by the MTCC (Malaysian Timber Certification Council), and also certified for Chain of Custody (CoC).

We provide completed practicable information such as the origin, evidence of good practice and sustainable forest management.

We own the source of tropical timber and the machines, thus these will ensure the availability and continuous supply of product on time. Meanwhile the quality of works and products are within our control, customer satisfaction is always the goal that we work for.
"The Malaysian Grading Rules for Sawn Hardwood Timber" - 6 Grades

These grading rules are duly fulfilled to ensure that only high quality tropical timber is stored in our warehouse, fed into our moulding machines and shipped to customers’ destination.

The Six Grades for Sawn Hardwood Timber is determined by the Grading System on the following aspects:-
  1. Prime Grade
  2. Select & Better Grade
  3. Standard & Better Grade
  4. Sound & Better Grade
  5. Serviceable Grade
  6. Utility (Merchantable Grade)
